How do on-hold programs operate in my phone system?
On-hold programs play continuously through the MOH port of phone systems, regardless of whether or not a caller is on hold. Callers will hear the “broadcast” only for the period they are on-hold. The portion they hear depends on where the program is in its real-time continuum. Any number of people placed on-hold will hear the program simultaneously.
