How do OM eggs differ from conventional farm eggs?

Our hens are free-run which means they have access to outdoors when weather permits, have natural lighting in the barn, roosting areas for each of them and they are never caged. Their feed is a mixture of organic feeds which include flax, corn, peas, soybeans etc. It’s free-choice so the birds decide what they want to eat and when they want to eat it. They are never force-fed. The use of antibiotics or synthetic hormones is prohibited. There must be a nest for every 8 hens and a rooster for every 50 (the roosters are there to mimic the natural flock dynamics). Our average egg producer has a flock 500 hens vs. conventional egg producers who have on average 26,000 hens.
