how do octopi procreate ?Via eggs or live birth?
The female octopus lays hundreds of thousands of eggs, the female hangs these eggs in her lair (inside strings), she guards her eggs from predators and makes sure they get enough oxygen. When the eggs hatch the mother die and the offspring hover in clouds of plankton where they get enough food until they are big enough to sink to the bottom of the ocean.
