How do nonprofits get listed on Change.org?
The list of over 1 million nonprofits on Change.org is provided by our partner, GuideStar. GuideStar is the industry leader in collecting data about nonprofit organizations, which it obtains through annual IRS tax filings and through its direct communication with tens of thousands of organizations each year. GuideStar’s database includes almost every registered 501(c)(3) organization in the United States, but does not include some of the most recently registered organizations. If you cannot find the nonprofit you are looking for, feel free to email us at nonprofits@change.org and suggest that we add it to our database.
