How do newtons cradle work and what is newtons cradle?
Newton’s cradle is several weights hanging from several strings. Imagine combining 6 pengulums together. If you take the left most weight, pull it back, and release it, it will hit the other weights and the right most weight will swing away from the center. Then the right most weight will momentarly stop and again hit the center causing the left most weight to break away. They work because of elastic collisions.
