• Answer: Neighbours or indeed any member of the public can make a representation or comment concerning a planning application to the Council. The Council will consider all comments, and will take into account any relevant planning matter before coming to a decision. The final decision however will be based on a range of factors, primarily the provisions of the development plan. The neighbours do not have a right of veto over an application.
