How do MPM Alerts work?

An MPM Alert is a pop up window that appears in the lower, right-hand corner of your monitor. It is intended to send important information to our MPM members in a timely manner. The toolbar is programmed to look for an updated alert every 5 minutes. If the alert file on the server has been updated, the new alert will be displayed. If the alert file has not been updated since it was last viewed, you should not see it. To close the MPM Alert, click on the “X” in the upper corner of the alert box.
