How Do Monoglycerides Affect Weight Loss?
Monoglycerides or monoglycerides are fatty acids that are commonly used in the food industry to increase product’s shelf life and stability for making margarine, low-calorie spreads, peanut butter, etc. Their weight loss properties are little known. All particpants were put on a low-calorie diet but body fat decreased significantly more in the group consuming diglycerides compared with those consuming triglycerides – the most common form of fatty acids in our food.
