How do mediums pick up on information from spirit?
To pick up on messages from spirit, we may see images in our mind’s eye and hear sounds in our mind’s ear. Some of us can pick up on tastes or smells, and many of us can pick up on strong emotions or the physical conditions of the communicator prior to their passing. Messages may come through directly, as in words or phrases, symbolically, or metaphorically. There’s also a degree to which there is just a knowing that comes through. Each medium tends to have some senses that are more developed than others; no two mediums are exactly alike.
