How do Matchmaker Meetings Take Place?
Qualified WBENC Certified businesses complete an application with specific information about their company, it’s products and services, and any additional information a vendor needs to have in order to accept a meeting appointment with a WBE. The buyer will review the applications prior to the meeting date and accept appointments with those WBEs they wish to meet with. The vendor representative(s) will meet with the WBE owner and/or representatives for 15 minute meetings. Depending on the number of applicants scheduled, the meetings are usually back to back with periodic breaks. The WBDC will handle the logistics involved in processing the applications, setting up the appointments and coordinating the meetings on site.
