How do maintenance representatives at an Infiniti dealer get paid?
It all depends on the dealer. Some are paid an hourly wage only. Others receive commissions on services sold. This is for dealers in general. I’m not sure if Infiniti has a corporate policy that covers this. I wouldn’t feel bad about taking it in just for warranty issues by the way. The dealer will get paid for the job and the part by Nissan/Infiniti. Warranty jobs are usually not money-losers for dealers.
