How do Maine citizens with proper documentation obtain marijuana now?
Under the current law, they may grow their own. Patients are limited to six plants, only three of which may be flowering (flowers are the usable part of marijuana). There is currently no provision for legally obtaining marijuana for medical purposes from sources other than growing one’s own plants.
