How do magnets affect plant growth?
Nope! This was my science fair project, and I tested the effect of magnets on plant growth and on the regeneration of planaria. If you are looking for a cool project, though, try the planaria. They’re flatworms that regenerate, and scientists use them to model the regeneration of nerves. Since magnets are used by some people to speed nerve and cell regeneration, the experiment helps answer the question as to whether or not it works.
