How do lower wattage LED Grow Lights produce the same usable light as higher wattage HPS or MH systems?
Plants can only use light in the 400nm- 700nm wavelengths for photosynthesis and chloral synthesis. Our LED Grow Lights are a specific nanometers within that spectrum, and every watt is usable. When comparing LED Grow Lights to HPS and MH systems, remember they are a broad range of light, resulting in only a portion of the watts being usable, the rest of the spectrum is responsible for heat buildup and excess energy consumption.
