How do limousine rates work?
Limo outfits set their own prices and terms because they are charter companies. The price essentially will be for the type of vehicle(s) you contract for times the number of hours (usually 3 minimum) plus the gratuity (usually 20 pct) and maybe a security deposit (usually refundable). Since you asking about just 2 pick-ups and deliveries with quite a bit of time in between, ask the limo folks if you can pay for just those two runs, thus leaving the remainder of the time available to support other customers. Note – if you want each passenger picked up individually, make sure you tell them that as well and give an idea of how far between each pick-up point. Payment is required in advance by credit card. If everybody is going to chip in, make sure that whoever is going to pay collects from everybody before the trip. Receipts should be given. Work out ahead of time the details of any refunds, e.g. security deposit, cancellation, etc. Shop around for you best deal. All the best.
