How do Landsat 7 ETM+ SLC-off data products compare to previous Landsat 7 data?

0

The primary difference between an SLC-off Landsat 7 product and data collected prior to the anomaly will be the presence of duplicated data (Level 0R) or missing data (Level 1G) in the SLC-off image, most pronounced along the edge of the scene, and gradually diminishing toward the center. Approximately 20% of the scene center is non-gapped data; and an estimated 22% of any given scene is lost because of the SLC-off failure. Methods have been developed to increase the utility of the SLC-off data. These can be found on the SLC-off Data Products Web page.
