How do killer bees kill people?
For most of us 1 bee sting will not kill us, but 10 stings per pound of body weight will kill us. If you weigh 100 pounds and you get 1000 stings you are most likely going to die. When an AHB hive defends its nest they will do so with 50% to 60% of the bees in the hive. If the hive population is 30,000 bees strong then 15,000 to 18,000 bees will be out to defend. That is enough bees to kill 1500 to 1800 pounds of body weight. The numbers are overwhelming so don’t get them mad. Keep away and call Bee Master of Las Vegas.
