How do kids that have never had antibiotics get candida?
Probably through their mother. When a child is in utero, their digestive tract is entirely sterile. The idea is that they are supposed to pick up all of the beneificial bacteria they need on the journey through the vaginal canal. Unfortunately, many of us today do not have very much beneficial bacteria available and may have a significant amount of yeast there instead. So, at birth, the baby picks up a dose of candida-yeast and no beneficial bacteria.
