How do international cricketers playing domestic cricket in South Africa benefit the respective franchises?
I think hopefully we can bring some experience. Having played international cricket and played against some of the best teams in the world, we bring some experience to the younger guys. Not only the younger guys but also the experienced guys. Your performances will go a long way. You know the main reason you’re here is to perform and help the team go places and win games for your team so they do reach the finals of a cup and they go on to win a trophy because winning a trophy takes a massive effort from everybody. You do need your star performers in there and I guess that’s what they look to international recruits for. How has Dolphins cricket helped you? I’ve had time to work, practise. Obviously match practice helps before I, hopefully, go to Australia, Ford has been great. Tat’s the way Dolphins cricket has helped me. They’ve helped me just improve my cricket all around.
