How do install SCIRun on RedHat Linux?

0

Red Hat linux (version 7.0) is shipped with a version of the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) that does not work for building SCIRun. Please see www.gnu.org/software/gcc/gcc-2.96.html for details. If you are using Red Hat, you should install GCC version 2.95.2 or 2.95.3. Red Hat 7.0 also ships with other required software (e.g. Tcl distributions) that will need to be upgraded.
