How do Independent Study courses work?

0

After enrolling in a course, your book will be shipped to you along with information on how to log on to Blackboard and contact information for your instructor. Once on Blackboard, you will have access to all of your coursework including syllabus, objectives, instructor contact information, all exams, and assignments. Each course is broken down into modules. Upon completion of each module there is generally a take home exam, paper, or project to complete. You will submit this electronically to your instructor through the digital drop-box. Your instructor will grade the work within two weeks and return feedback to you via your digital drop-box. After all work is completed for the course, the instructor will submit a final grade for you which will be entered into your official record. An official grade report will be printed and mailed to you.
