How do i write emotional but clever lyrics?
You use Emotional Weed and drink Clever Beer! But seriously, study the greats and become greater. I personally, like to study my favorite artists or artists that have to do with what you want to say in your case–by reading their lyrics, listening to their songs, etc. You should also watch emotional but clever romantic movies or other types of movies or at least read their dialogue. Read poetry, usually they have a play on words which isn’t all that direct when you first read them. Try role-playing–act like you’re emotional about the situation you want to write about, then adjust that a little with clever thoughts–or write whatever you want to write and fix it up continuously ’til you think its clever and emotional, most of the time you’re voice and moods will make it emotional.
