How do i write an inspirational student council speech?
Figure out what you are passionate about when it comes to your school. Jot down some ideas. Go from there. A speech is a lot like an essay. You have an opening statement/paragraph, that outlines what you want to talk about and why. You have several paragraphs that independently address each of the topics, your position, and supporting arguements, with a summation for each paragraph. Then you need a conclusion, something that draws it all together. In a politically motivated speech you also need really strong phrasing and words that will draw your audience in and bring them along with you. Don’t worry too much about this initially. If you right about topics that you are passionate about and interested in, this should to some extent come through on its own. The best advice I have received as a writer…. “Just write, get it on paper, you can go back and fix it later. Just get the story down.” Well, for me it’s the story, for you it is a speech, but the advice is good. Just start writing,
