How do i work out where my damp proof course starts on my house?
It should be at least about two bricks above the ground level around your home. However, that is not always the case, look for a black line of damp proof material in the mortar of the bricks just above the ground, then work-up from there to find it. If you cannot see it wait until after rain and then you should see that the lower bricks are wet and those above are dry. The first dry one is the indicator.
