How do I weight grades within the Gradebook?

From within the Control Panel, click on Gradebook. Locate the Weight Grades option and you will be given two choices: Weight by Category or Weight by Item. Select the appropriate option for your course and weight the items accordingly. After you have done so, be sure to hit the Submit button.
