How do I visit the Materials Science Program at UW-Madison?
Materials Science Wisconsin Weekend The Materials Science Program has a visit weekend one weekend each Spring. This year’s MSP visit weekend will be 03/11/10-03/14/10 (arrive late 03/11/10 and depart early morning 03/14/10). We will invite those students selected by the admissions committee as admissible. Invitations for the visit weekend will be sent out sometime in February 2010 for the Fall 2010 applicants selected. Please note that we cannot invite international students not residing in the U.S. If you are invited to the visit weekend and cannot attend, it may be possible to request a separate visit through the MSP office. Note: We do not invite all applicants in the U.S. to the visit weekend. We invite only those the admissions committee deems admissible. Often funding matches with specific faculty occur during the Wisconsin Weekend. Back to the top of the page.
