• If you are in the library, use a PC with Internet Explorer (IE). If you are using your home PC, you must have downloaded onto your PC the Simplified and Traditional Chinese character sets as well as the Unicode UTF-8 encoding. • Go to http://library.minlib.net:1082/search. (Chinese characters only display when you enter the Catalog through Port 1082). To access the Catalogs My Account feature log into http://library.minlib.net:1082/patroninfo • From the browsers menu, click on View, then on Encoding, then on Unicode UTF-8. • Search the MLN Catalog by keyword for Chinese language materials. • Click on a blue title/author link to view the record for a particular title. At this level you should be able to see the Chinese characters for those records that include them. • Click the Next Record button to view the next title in the list.
