How do I verify that the McAfee® Security Services are installed properly?

There are three different services available from McAfee® Security (VirusScan®, Personal Firewall and Privacy Service). Depending on the services you have installed, the security index value for that service should be at “10” and the status of the service should be “Protecting”. You can verify this by double-clicking on the SecurityCenter icon.
