How do I use WebMail?
Our Unix Accounts offer a Webmail interface that allows you to access any of your email accounts from any computer with an internet connection in the world. To access Webmail: 1. Type www.yourdomain.com/webmail/ into your web browser. (Note the trailing slash) 2. When prompted, enter the login* and password for the email account you wish to access. 3. You will then have the option of choosing from a variety of webmail systems (we recommend NeoMail) 4. If this is your first time using Webmail, you’ll need to answer a few simple questions. 5. You’re now ready to send and receive email messages while on the move! *If you are accessing email for your main ‘primary’ account, your username will simply be “username”, but if accessing email for any other accounts, you should use “username@domain.com”.
That is to say, how do I use a web browser to access my email without having to setup and configure an email client such as Outlook Express, Thunderbird or Eudora? Well, we have a webmail front end on the email servers which allow you to go anywhere there is an Internet connection and you have use of a web browser. If you look at the navigation bar in the top frame, you will see a link, all the way to the right for Webmail. This offers greater portabilty, as you do not need to use anemail client. You merely have to open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc) and go to the Internet Extension website. Then, click on that link and login. Simply use either https://webmail.internetextension.com for internetextension.com accounts or sagerat.com accounts. You must use your full email address for the login account name.
