How Do I Use Voyager, the Web-Based Online Catalog to Find Out Which Books/Materials the Library Owns?
Moffett Library currently has a collection of approximately 275,000 titles including books, periodicals, United States documents, Texas documents, videorecording (both VHS and DVD), computer files and sound recordings (LPs, cassettes, and CDs). Moffett Librarys collection can be viewed through our online catalog, Voyager, on the Moffett Library Home Page at http://library.mwsu.eduLike most other academic institutions and many public libraries, Moffett Library switched over to an online catalog many years ago and in the 1990s we put that catalog on the web.It is now possible to check Voyager from any Internet capable computer to see if the library has a particular item (not just books but media, CML, documents, etc).The system also shows the current status of that item so that you can tell if it is available.Although we try to make Voyager as user friendly as possible it is a complex multifaceted system with many different ways to view the collection.The following rules are the basic in
