How do I use violin varnish?

0

I imagine you want to paint your violin or should I say, varnish it. First, sand it lightly with a #600 sandpaper. Air blow the violin to remove small specks of dust and brush it with a clean paint brush to make sure that it is clean. Then, apply very thin coats, sanding in betwen each one, so that the paint can grab and prevent dripping. Apply 5 or 6 thin coats before applying the final coat. Usually, you apply thin coats in intervals of 30 min to 45 min. in-between.
