As of version 0.4.2 support for libusb has been added so software like Gphoto2 and Gtkam will work on BeleniX. However these will be included by default in the next release. USB Memory Sticks are supported by default on OpenSolaris if they are formatted with the FAT (16 or 32) filesystem. You need to just plug them in and they will be automatically mounted under /media.
