How do I use TravBuddy to plan my future travels?
TravBuddy makes it easy to plan and organize future trips. First, create a travel blog by clicking on “My Profile” then clicking on “Create a Travel Blog” in the left hand column. Then, click on “Add Journal Entry”. Set the location and date of the journal entry to the future date and location of where you plan to travel to. You can use the blog interface to plot out where you want to visit, figure out transportation logistics, or store contact details of hostels/hotels you want to stay at. You will be able to follow your route on a dynamic map as well. Another big benefit of plotting out your future travels on TravBuddy is that you will be able to easily see other TravBuddies who are planning to visit the same places you are! You can use this an opportunity to meet up with fellow travelers or exchange travel advice. (Note: If you prefer to hide your trip planning details, you can always make your travel blog private).
