How do I use the Visa prepaid payment functionality on my Student Campus Card for online purchases?
Once you activate the Visa prepaid payment functionality and load your Student Campus Card, you can use your card for online purchases at stores where Visa prepaid cards are accepted electronically as long as the card is valid and you have available funds for use. There is no fee for online purchases made where the retailer and the financial institution accepting the card are located in Australia. Online purchases made in foreign currency or Australian dollars where the retailer or financial institution accepting the card is located overseas are subject to an Overseas Transaction fee of 3.0% of the AUD amount. To use your card online simply: • Select ‘Visa’ as your payment method. • Enter your 16 digit card number. • Enter your card expiry date and. • If requested, enter your CVV2 number (your CVV2 number is the last three digits of the numbers that appear above the signature panel on the back of your Card).
