How do I use the Visa prepaid payment functionality for online purchases?
Once you activate the Visa prepaid payment functionality and load your Student Campus Card, you can use your card for online purchases at online stores that accept Visa cards* as long as the card is valid and you have available funds for use. There is no ANZ fee for online purchases made where the merchant and the financial institution accepting the card are located in Australia. Online purchases made in foreign currency or Australian dollars where the merchant or financial institution accepting the card is located overseas are subject to an Overseas Transaction fee of 3% of the AUD value of the transaction. *Currently the Woolworths Group is declining to accept any Visa prepaid cards (including the University of Sydney Student Campus Card) as a method of payment.
