A- All NCD ThinSTAR products run O/S Microsoft Windows CE V2.12. This version by default had no support for USB ports. The more costly NCD ThinSTAR products came with USB ports, but have always been un-useable. NCD had plans to offer newer windows CE O/S that included support for USB ports, but before completing the port to a newer CE for ThinSTARs the product line was sold to Neoware Inc and this update for the ThinSTAR was never completed. All ThinSTARs running the latest ThinSTAR software V 2.3.1 from NCD is unable to (Download Center) recognizes any device connect to the local USB ports. To NCDs knowledge there is no third party software available which would enable USB devices on the ThinSTARs.
