How do I use the menu labelled show species from when adding species to my list?
The show species from menu can be used to limit the add list to species from a specific region. After conducting a search, select a region to restrict the list to species from that region. For example, after searching for ‘loons,’ select ‘California’ to only see loons from California. Note: the regional information for a species only includes where it most typically lives. Species are often sighted outside of these regions. If you do not find a species after selecting a region, try expanding your search to all regions in order to locate the species.
