When using the file upload method to post accounts, there are two main requirements: • Accounts may be uploaded to this system in .CSV file format. CSV, or “comma separated values” format, is a common spreadsheet file format, which is different than that of a regular Excel file. To save a spreadsheet file in CSV format, follow these steps (in Excel): • With the desired file open, choose “Save As…” from the file menu. • In the dropdown menu titled “Save As Type”, choose “CSV (Comma Delimited)”. You may have to scroll down to see this option. • Save this file in an appropriate place. • An uploaded file must be in the correct layout, that is, the column order must be exactly as prescribed in the provided template.
