Now, on this screen there will be a list of all files and folders in the main directory. This article will show you several steps on how to use the various features in the file manager. Adding a new folder: Towards the top of the file manager you will see a folder icon with the following text in bold print; Create New Folder. Click on it. On the right side of the page a box will appear where you can type in the name of the new folder you are about to create. Type in the name and then click on the button labeled as Create. Upon clicking the create button you will see the text Created foldername in /home/user where foldername is the new name of the folder you just created .
