How do I use the Alarm Clock feature on the Stylus 740?
The alarm clock feature causes the camera to play an audio cue at a predetermined time or interval. To use the alarm clock, you must first set the cameras date and time. Note that if [DUALTIME] is set to [ON], the alarm will sound according to the [DUALTIME] date and time settings, not those of the camera default date and time. With the mode dial set to any mode except [GUIDE], press the [MENU] button. Next, press the Right arrow on the arrow pad to select [SETUP], and then press the [OK/FUNC] button to access the Setup menu. Use the Up or Down arrow to navigate to [ALARM CLOCK]. Press the Right arrow to advance to the next screen. Use the Up or Down arrow to select the frequency with which the alarm should activate. [ONE TIME] means the alarm will ring at the appointed time and then turn [ALARM CLOCK] to [OFF]; [DAILY] means the alarm will ring each day at the appointed time.
