How do I use nySTART to determine my districts or schools accountability status?

The assessment result summaries available through nySTART “Assessment Reports” are based on the test scores of all students who took a particular assessment while enrolled in your school or district. The Performance Index (PI) used for accountability is calculated using only the scores of continuously enrolled students and includes scores on all allowed assessments for a particular accountability measure. You can review your district or school’s accountability status on the New York State Report Card, which will be available for preview in late October.
