How do i use my gi bill and what is this new gi bill i heard about?
Definitely use the Archangel website provided. The 9/11 GI Bill is great because it pays BAH (e-5) w/dependent rate plus book money plus your tuition (up to a certain amount based on the state you live in). However, it doesn’t pay for vocational school. IF you elect to switch from the Montgomery GI Bill to the 9/11, you can’t switch back. But you can use the Montgomery GI Bill and later decide to switch to the 9/11 GI Bill. AU CONTRAIRE MRS JVB: The program went into effect 1 Aug 09. We have a civil service employee who retired in 2006. The 9/11 GI BIll is paying for her masters. She served for 3 years (+) after 9/11 and is eligible for the 9/11 GI Bill.
