How do I use my Color-Go-Round Thread Carousel with Non-crosswound thread?
1. Locate the nick in one end of the spool that prevents unraveling when the thread is stored. Drop a woolen washer (at least one came with your machine) and then the spool over a pin of the carousel, being careful to place the nicked end up. Caution: Failure to place the nicked end up could cause needle breakage. 2. Do not leave any thread dangling and do not use the upper wire guide. Thread the machine directly from the spool as if it were the vertical spool pin of the machine. The spool will rotate when feeding thread, just as it would if using the machine’s vertical spool pin. 3. When finished, cut or rewind the thread so that it does not hang below the base of the carousel.
