How do I use InLab?
If your lab instructor assigns the InLab, with his/her help, you need to decide which type of lab you are doing. It could be a standard hypothesis-driven lab, a non-hypothesis descriptive lab, or a lab you’ll be designing on your own. There are InLab steps for each of these types of labs, so it’s important that you decide which type you’re about to do. Once you know the type of lab you’re doing, you will choose the InLab mode you will be using: handout, Self-Guide, or Tutor. You may print out the InLab handout before you come to lab and use it to record your data and observations. Note that the handout doesn’t have all the information available on the SelfGuide version of the InLab. It only lists the steps. If you have access to a computer during lab, you may use InLab in various ways: Use the handout to record your work alongside the web site for accessing additional information; copy and paste the InLab steps into a word processing program and type your work directly into that docume
