• Go to File -> New -> Page. • Go to File -> Save As, and name the file filename.txt. Note that you can replace “filename” with whatever name you would like the file called. • Save the file. FrontPage will automaticallly save the file with a .htm extension. • Change the file’s extension by right-clicking on the new file. Then, go to Rename and remove the “.htm” from the end of the file. • Save the file. The file will now be a regular text format file with HTML tags in it. • Open the saved file by double-clicking on its filename. It should open in your text editor (usually Notepad). • In the opened file, remove everything that was put into the file by FrontPage. • Add your CGIEmail or Auto Responder information to the file. • Save the file and close your text editor. FrontPage will then automatically update the text file on the server.
