How do I use essential oils in candles?

Alexis! you can use essential oils with your candlemaking. I would flavor the entire candle with the fragrance since you will want to enjoy it thru the life of the candle. Allow the wax to cool slightly before adding the oil since you do not want all of the scent to burn off in the heat. That said, don’t let the wax harden either–just a few minutes off of the heat should do the trick. It is hard to say exactly how much oil to use since scent is different for everyone. Experiment until you have found what you like. No carrier is necessary…the oil and wax blend fine together. Good Luck!
