How do I use dashboards to display my Salesforce data?
To create a dashboard, you first have to create a custom report with data grouped so that it can be charted properly. Then you can click on the Dashboards tab, click Go To Dashboards List, and then create a new dashboard by clicking New Dashboard at the top of that list pane. Select the dashboard options you want, and click save. Then edit the dashboard you just created, allowing you to choose the dashboard arrangement and data displays.
