Connect The Drive To The PCConnect the SimpleTech external hard drive to the PC with a USB cable. One end of a USB cable will plug into a free USB port on the computer. The other end will connect to the drive.Access The DriveOpen the drive to access the storage space. After connecting the drive to the USB port, it will be installed within the operating system as a drive letter. Click the drive letter to access the drive, just like you would with your internal hard drive.
