Checking Video CompatibilityBefore uploading video files to your Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) console, first check the type of format the files are by right-clicking on each and selecting “Properties” on your personal computer. According to PlayStation, the PSP can play videos of the following formats: MPEG-4 (MP4), AVI, and H.264. If your video files are not in one of these supported formats, you can convert them using a program such as Sony’s Media Go software (linked in the Resources section below).Uploading Video to PSPEnsure that you have a Memory Stick Duo inserted into the dedicated port on your PSP. Connect your PSP to your computer using a PSP to PC USB cable, and select “USB Connection” from the “Settings” menu on your PSP. Your computer will detect the PSP’s memory as removable media. Open this directory, and simply copy and paste the files you wish to upload to your PSP into the “VIDEO” folder.
