How do I upload my site and ensure the Frontpage components work properly?

A. Firstly, ensure you have let us know that you wish to use Frontpage extensions on your site. By default we do not install Frontpage extensions on every site to improve security but we will enable them without any cost usually within an hour. Secondly, always use the “File > Publish” option when you wish to use the Frontpage components such as the visitor counter, navigation components, etc. If you use FTP to upload the extensions will most often fail to work and they will cause errors on your site. You must always publish your site to the full domain address e.g. http://www.mydomain.com. If you have published your domain and still find the components are not working correctly, please check FAQ21 before contacting us.
